Forest resource management company JTIMBER, together with its partner JRANGA – specialising in the preparation of raw timber – has started using CFHarvest, a forestry service planning and control system developed by U.S.-based company Trimble.

CFHarvest enables centralised planning of forestry operations across both companies, allowing real-time coordination and monitoring of logging and timber extraction processes. The system also allows cutting areas (stands) within forest plots to be defined and operational data to be automatically transferred to forestry machinery.

In addition, both service providers and forest owners can monitor ongoing work, timber volumes, and assortments prepared for sale in real time.

By integrating all forestry operations into a single platform, the implementation of CFHarvest enhances transparency and operational efficiency for both JTIMBER and JRANGA.

The system was successfully implemented by TMV Competence center – part of the TMV Capital group – in collaboration with Trimble Inc.
