On September 8–11, 2025, JTIMBER underwent an FSC® Chain of Custody audit, during which the scope of the certificate was successfully expanded. The certifying organisation Preferred by Nature, which conducted the audit, assessed the company’s compliance with the FSC-STD-40-003 V2-1, FSC-STD-40-004 V3-1, FSC-STD-40-005 V3-1, and FSC-STD-50-001 V2-1 standards.

During the inspection of the forestry management company JTIMBER, the company’s activities were assessed not only in Lithuania and Latvia, but also in Poland.

The certifying organisation Preferred by Nature found no non-conformities, and the auditors’ conclusions state that JTIMBER‘s activities comply with international requirements for responsible timber supply chains and controlled raw materials. The company has been issued a renewed FSC® certificate (PBN-COC/CW-071507), covering the requirements of the Production Chain, Controlled Wood, and Multi-site Standards.
